“Natural Wonders of the World”

Quilters and Patchworkers of Otago are excited to host an exhibition of "Natural Wonders of the World", an international quilt challenge. 

Thirty quilters from New Zealand, France and Japan are involved, ninety in total. 

Quilters & Patchworkers of Otago are excited to bring the Natural Wonders of the World, International Quilt exhibition to Dunedin. 

Each quilter was given a topic of a natural wonder. The same topics were used in each of the three countries, NZ, Japan and France, resulting in three different perspectives on each topic. 

All 90 quilts will be on display in Dunedin at The H D Skinner Annex, Otago Museum,  361 Great King Street Dunedin (Old Dunedin North Post Office) from Friday 11 May 2018 to Sunday 13 May. The opening hours are 10am to 5pm daily. $5 entry. 

This is a unique opportunity to compare styles of the 3 countries as the 30 subjects are interpreted in different ways.
