"I love ... the live and local contribution Radio Dunedin makes to the city"

I started on air at Radio Dunedin (broadcasting out of Skeggs House in Tennyson
Street), in 1996 and enjoyed hosting a 6-9pm evening show before moving on to
weekend breakfast, as well as assisting on the Sunday Request Show
semi-regularly.  The transition to parenthood and the subsequent involvement in
all our family activities, and running two businesses has meant I don't
currently have a regular on-air time slot.  However, I thoroughly enjoy "filling
in" - covering shifts whenever possible when regular presenters are
unavailable.  It's great to keep in touch with the Radio Dunedin listeners and
keep up to date with the changes in technology within the industry.
I love the fantastic range of music we play and the live and local contribution Radio
Dunedin makes to the city, and further afield.  Distance is irrelevant over the
radio waves!  It is a privilege to be part of a station with solid local roots
and history, & I hope my involvement will continue for many more years!
